record of lodoss war - $22.99

were these good deals? i didn't buy them. should i go back?

Eh not really. Just download and burn them to make your own decision. I dont think either game had any content downsampled in the CD-R releases, so you aren't missing out on much that way. I really don't think they're worth those prices.

naw, missing out is seeing a listing on craigslist for $20 for a dreamcast, controllers, mars matrix, adaptors to use PSX controllers on a DC, along with some other odds and ends like SMS game boxes and maybe some sega magazines, and having your friend be too tired to drive you that day only to have the items sell the next day.

I found a great gamecube deal that I've got my fingers crossed for. Black Gamecube with box, and two grey wavebird controllers - $40. I was the second person to respond to the listing, and she said if she didn't hear from the other person again by tonight it was mine, so i'm hoping.

That's a great deal. The pawn shop around here sold me a platinum gamecube with a platinum wavebird for $25 which i was pretty happy about but looks like you got me beat if you can snag that.

yeah i was mainly just interested in their resale value. i thought they seemed a bit steep.

i also hate that lodoss war game. gundam's okay.

The Lodoss War game is basically a console Diablo. So if that's your thing, snap it up.
