First Capcom, now Namco-bandai!

Yet another company is doing this atrocious act! Pac-man is no Resident Evil, but this game is popular with the casual crowd. Would they complain about it like the hardcore player would? Or is that their plan all along?

Buy a flash kit or a save manager. Then you can buy deeply devalued used copies at lower prices, wipe the saves, and laugh.

I don't know about the legality of them. All I know is that I don't pirate games unless bad DRM or lack of retail availability drives me to it. Not that I would know how to pirate a 3DS game, or need to since I don't have one.

I just think that if a company is going to deliver a gimped product to paying customers to prevent piracy, then I'm much more interested in finding the pirated version that has those problems removed.
