[PS3] Unreal Tournament III

I think the only recent FPS that has caught my attention has been Borderlands, cuz it looks amazing.

I'm crap at FPSs and I love Borderlands. It has helped me improve a lot with mouse and keyboard, but I'm sure playing with a controller is fine too.

Why don't you play Portal (1 or 2)? They aren't shooters, but they are first-person... games. I'm sure you'd get used to the perspective after a while.

But yeah Borderlands just looks so awesome. I keep holding out cuz I want to get the GOTY edition, and never find it used. The original release is so cheap, though. Do I NEED the GOTY version?

I am about to hop on and start up a game. I will make it a private server so we don't have to deal with some of the cyborgs that roam the PS3 UT3 servers, at least not until our crew has learned the levels.

add: and make sure you DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL ALL UPDATES FOR UT3 so we can play some of the new mutators like Titan.

Yes, you need it because General Knoxx is awesome. But you shouldn't buy it used, since the DLC doesn't come in the disc. They just gave out download codes with the GOTY edition. If you were to find it, the codes would've been used most likely.

Actually, since Noise would be playing Borderlands on ps3. Also, I own the GOTY edition of Borderlands and dlc is on the disc already.

The first Game of the Year Edition included the original Borderlands game, one-time use vouchers for all 4 of the downloadable content packs, and a hand drawn bonus map. It was released on October 12, 2010 in North America.[21] Players who buy this edition will gain access to the Duke Nukem Forever First Access Club which will grant them exclusive items, including early access to the Duke Nukem Forever playable demo before it is publicly released.[22] The second GOTY version includes all 4 of the DLC on a second disc on Xbox 360, but on the same disc on PS3. The first version says it includes add-on pack tokens, while the second just says add-on packs included.

So, two GOTY versions, one of them with the DLC on disc, the other not.

Wierd, I got the voucher from the first one but the dlc on disc from the second one. So Noise will need to get the 2nd GOTY Borderlands.
