Amen to that, i actually played the ds version first. Both are great games and good for their respective console, but i agree with brad the snes is better, mainly due to the controller and bigger screen on the tv :D

Super Star is a great game, but you really should get Super Star Ultra for DS instead if you can.
I choose the original anytime. The snes controller still feels fantastic

I saw a 32x game at a thrift store for the first time, NFL Quarterback Club. It was only $1 for the filthy, loose cart, but I left it. If it was a 32x game that I might actually want to play if I had the add on, then $1 would be a steal, but the double cheeseburger I could get instead sounds like a better deal. I'm also curious to see if it's still there next time I visit.

I did pick up a pack of 6 Nyko GBA game cases, still sealed, for $3.

While rummaging through storage, amongst a pile of 1993/96-era EGMs and Nintendo Powers..

I've never even owned one of these damn things!

That said - anybody want it?

The company where I work is moving offices and today on the floor I found a couple of GameBoy Colors and a few games. I went and found their owner and got the following for the awesome price of *free*

- Purple GameBoy Color
- The Legend of Zelda: Oricle of Ages
- Pokemon Pinball
- GameBoy Color Pelican light/magnifier/buttons accessory

What I didn't get (though I might get them later once he thinks it over) is a Pokemon GameBoy Color and Pokemon Gold. He said those were a bit more sentimental and he wanted to think it over. Hopefully he makes the right decision. :)

Also picked up Mega Man 4, Godzilla 2 , COntra, Nobungas Ambition, 1942, Tecmo Super Bowl, Tecmo Bowl, Little Mermaid, Galaga, Contra, and Tengen Road Runner for NES today.

Total Cost: $15.00

Great day, I drove off with a big grin on my face. No better feeling than getting a great deal.

now you guys are making me want to go garage sales again. There was a time I bought Knuckles Chaotix, I was still in its box with the manual and everything included as well as various game systems and other games and everything I paid $60

the funny story of this is that when I sold it on ebay, that one game alone covered my purchase, the rest was pure profit.

Yeah except this was a resale shop... and this guy seemed to know what he had, or atleast an alright idea that games like Mario and Contra are more desired games. He said he buys them for 50 cents each at garage sales, so 1.50 an NES cart is 300% profit for him lol.
