Help with my sega cd...

Post by Chickensuit »

I just bought a sega genesis 1 with a sega cd. The sega cd is the top loading one.
Anyways, i hooked it up with the provided rf cable and was playing sonic cd. Well i know i need to get an av cable for it, but is there something else i should do to do to get the full use out of it? I mean, the sega cd has stereo line outs and a mixing slot on the back.
Like i say, it works through the rf cable on the back of the gene, but is there a better way?
Thanks

Get and install a stereo mixing cable and use the audio out on the Sega CD.

hmm, ok, i pluged in my headphones through the front headphone conector, and it sounds awesome and in stereo. Would this be a good method as well, running a cord from the headphone jack to my stereo????

I think you should connect the headphones jack to the mixing jack then use the phono jacks on the sega cd to your stereo.

but I could be wrong
