What do you dislike the most about your favorite console?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

GBA SP is okay, but I accidentally bump the cart or squeeze the system (Link's Awakening, you know... Start, Select, A and B?!) and make it reset! The original GBA was so nice and durable, all 4 of my GBA SPs are so flimsy! And small. I have small hands and it drives me nuts. The DS would have been nice to have the carts sticking out, since it was wide enough I wouldn't have to worry about bumping the GB/GBC cart. Nintendo, you teased me! Gr.

You want a backlit GBC, and don't like GBA SP? Try a Gameboy Player.

SNES: The yellowing and the difficulty to find original first party controllers.

PSP: UMDs. They suck. They are loud, and can have rather long loading times which eats up the already mediocre battery life.
NES, SNES, PS1, N64, DC, PS2, GCN, Wii, PS3, 360, GB, GBC, GBA, GBA SP, PSP 3000, and 3DS XL

I had read that it's only early model SNESs that do this. Some sort of flame retardant they used in the plastic on the early models causes it. I have one myself, and the yellowing looks quite ugly. But I can deal with the ugly as long it works as it should.

Turbo Grafx - 3 ft controller cord
1 controller input
no av cable outputs
all of which can be fixed by spending $ for additional devices

I can't really say "favorite" console. As of late, I play my PS3 the most. I guess my complaint is that even though the BC has been working fine, it sucks that PS2 games don't support anything other than Dual Shock 3 or Sixaxix, whereas I can use all my third party shit on PS1 and PS3 games.

I agree. It made me lose respect for the whole company. These are things that should have been standard, not accessories you had to spend money on.

TurboGrafx was the absolute worst here for making you buy every accessory you can imagine

It's actually really easy to add the GBA SP frontlight to a GBC. "Broken" GBAs can be had quite cheap off ebay; look for ones that turn on but don't hold a charge in their battery.
