If they sell they will come. Though honestly, the series hasn't had ANY kind of promotion since the SNES days, so I don't understand what Capcom expected from the series sales. In Europe it's even a fucking pain to find the games. Non specialist retailers never carry Megaman games here :S :S :S
over here with video game places like Rock N' Sports like we used to call it ( pay a pretty penny to buy their game, $85 for Marvel vs Capcom for the Playstation for example )
Marvel vs Capcom 3 had all sorts of promotion in their game, I was actually surprised to see commercials for it when it came out because I don't remember 1 and 2 getting any sort of publicity but had a huge fan base nontheless. I was around at 8 years old playing X-Men vs Street Fighter and around 6 years old playing X-Men Children of the Atom..lol
Okay, Capcom seems to be trying to cool down their (ex)fans right now by releasing a bit of good news: Phoenix Wright is finally getting into a Vs. game; the upcoming Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3. I am SOOO glad I passed on buying the original MvC3; I knew this was going to happen eventually.
If you guys don't mind, just follow the instructions on that site and you should be able to do it in less than 3 minutes. Don't forget to post on the official forum's petition, which is linked to in that article.

Have been registered for awhile. I still don't buy that the dev room was why Capcom cancelled, nor do I maintain any real hopes of MML3 coming back. Showing Capcom they might want to do a little research on what fans like before cancelling shit might be a good idea, though - if only to prevent another franchise dying like this.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I never said I would buy it new. I also am now on a Capcom boycott. I just meant that I would like to see Phoenix Wright kick the stuffing out of Galactus.
