ted leo! debating on whether or not i should go see him this thursday, since i might not have a chance to again, or going to see my friends play their last show ever:

Gotta love HC bands with pentagram bass drums. Ted Leo plays all the time, but then again it depends on how much you like your friend's band.

ted leo NEVER plays indy, though. and the opener is fred erskine from hoover's new band.

i dunno. i'll probably just go see the dream is dead. ice nine and phoenix bodies are playing too, so...yeah.

I have not. I just have a few random Bill Laswell related things like Blood of Heroes, Massacre, Tabla Beat Science, and I'm sure many other one off collaborations on albums I can't remember at the moment.

After a quick spin on youtube, I might have heard some of it in DJ mixes. Good stuff.

Laswell is insanely prolific, so he's impossible to keep up with. My favorites (of what I have heard) are Material: "Hallucination Engine", Material "Seven Souls", and Praxis: "Transmutation (Mutatis Mutandis)".
