Re: [PS3] Unreal Tournament III
I picked this up for five bucks a while back. I dont really play it because I don't really have a USB keyboard and mouse to use. And I suck with the DS3. And I just suck at FPS games period so yeah.

Hit up your local thrift store, craigslist, or freecycle.

I think this sounds fun. I haven't really been playing any fps lately and I loved unreal on my dc. I'm sure I've got a usb mouse and keyboard somewhere. If I can find a copy I would be up for it.

You can find a cheap four port USB hub at the dollar store or a Big Lots or something.Hobie-wan wrote:No luck with a cheap hub today. All of the ones at Goodwill were ones with a power brick. My headset is wireless and plugs into the wall, so I just need a cheapo unpowered hub to split for mouse and kb. Wipeout and I got headsets working, though his is a little on the quiet side. Didn't realize you have to hit a button to transmit. No clue what that's going to be for pad people.
We need to make sure people have at least the free map packs installed too. It is more complicated than it needs to be to get them installed versus doing so on a PC, but it is doable with a flash drive one at a time.
I have the bonus packs, Samus model, and blockland level installed. I know Wipeout has the bonus packs and blockland.

The Big Lots near me closed a few years ago which made me sad, but there are a few 'dollar' stores in the area. I'll have a look, thanks.Xelyx wrote:You can find a cheap four port USB hub at the dollar store or a Big Lots or something.

I know it's a bit early in the day, but I am about to hop on for a few games.

Re: [PS3] Unreal Tournament III
I don't know what UT3 is to be honest. But if it's $7 on PS3 and a bunch of my bros are playing, I'm interested.
I don't think I'd spend $ on a mic, though. That would probably drive my wife nuts.
BTW Hobie, I think I have a USB hub in my attic that I don't need.
