I range between mac, linux and windows. Depending where I am when I drop in.

I think I'm gonna put BeOS on one of my machines just to throw that stat even higher! heh... an OS just for one website... ok.

Or maybe Solaris, let's give Sun a little love.

Where is dreamcast in this list? What would the PlanetWeb powered browsers be filed under? And for that matter, it's European equivalents.

I'm using Windows. Don't really like any OS but I hate windows the least, not if you include Vista though, then I hate windows the most, but I try to forget about that atrocity that Microsoft released. Oh how I miss you Windows 98.
Somebody sell me a model 1 modchip for Saturn. Please.

Google Analytics.
It just has a small javascript that loads with each page that just takes the info from your browser.
No personal information, just the type of browser you use and what OS its running on.
Just about any website will have it or something similar.

It's a valuable tool to let site owners what their audience is like and what pages are popular.

I use Mac OS X exclusively. I use linux but not for personal use. I use windows (grudgingly) at work twice a week. Man do I hate windows with a passion. Being a mac/linux power user it makes little sense to constrain myself to using Windows as any kind of a productive operating system. I gave up on PC gaming when most of my fave games (adventure/sim/RTS) were also available on mac. Why bother when OS X is faster, leaner, easier to maintain (cron jobs/dynamic folders etc).

Plus being a part time recording musician I need something robust that doesn't completely die when running any sort of high bit rate recording/processing. Plus Max/MSP is 1000x better on OS X :). We also have Logic :D
