Hopefully not long. The Vita has loads of potential for emulation, possibly even Gamecube emulation, and PS2 games will almost certainly be available as downloads at some date.

What I hope is that the Vita has strong enough US support that it's not so necessary to mod it as the original PSP was.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms X is on my wish list. The only thing I will gripe about the system is that I like the cosmetic design of the original PSP 1000 and 3000 better. In terms of looks, I think the system is only one step above being as ugly as the Go

Not sure what you mean...mods weren't done to play JPN games as UMDs were region free...

What I mean is, I hope the PS Vita library is strong enough that people won't feel the need to play other console's games on the Vita instead of actual Vita games. Sort of like how the oXbox's library didn't impress a lot of people, so they just used it as an emulation machine.

It's not a matter of running out of options; it's a matter of having many more options available.

PlayStation Vita to Double as PS3 Controller

Why buy a Wii U when you can get a Vita for your PS3?

Why get a Vita when a regular Dualshock 3 controller is a whole lot cheaper?

To play Vita games as well as have PS3/Vita connectivity.
