Sorry to reach back about 3 pages and as many days, but what are your guys' opinions on THPS4? 3 and 4 are my favorites, but I liked 4 because of the freedom allowed. I understand the game started out as an arcade-like game and 3 hit a good balance between free-roaming and time-based objectives, but I personally think 4 did it best. Underground was acceptable but inferior to all 4 pro-skaters and all the rest were worse, I agree there. I just seem to be in the minority of those who prefer 4 out of all the pro skaters...
To add to the thread - I picked up roller coaster tycoon for oXbox this past Friday and I'm just now getting into it. God I love this game.

Tony Hawk 2 on the Dreamcast is the only game I care about, and by far the best I have played in the series.
Re: What are you playing?
I liked one thru four, with the latter being a clear favourite. I also felt that 3 was a compromise between the two if you can even call it that. Nonetheless, I enjoy it a lot.
And I thought Underground was great. I loved the story aspect and bought THUG2 for that reason, only to be severely disappointed. The levels were pretty sweet though.

Fallout New Vegas
Really fun now that the in game radio is on. Also the random findings are pretty cool as well.

I've been playing through Revenge of Shinobi on the Genesis for the first time during the past month or so. Haven't been able to beat it yet.
I've also been trying to 1CC Metal Black on Saturn on and off since about February. At best I can 2 or 3CC it, but keep finding myself making stupid mistakes each time, which is incredibly easy to do in that game. It may be one of the most frustrating games I've ever played, but I love it quite a bit.

Revenge of Shinobi definitely has some nasty levels later on. Definitely one of my favorites on the Genesis though, and insanely good music and graphics.

Yeah, the music is excellent. I love the 'Ninja Step' track best.
Re: What are you playing?
Super Mario Galaxy.
Two words:
Holy. Shit.
I honestly did not believe the hype. I mean, hey everyone likes Mario 64 and I hate that game. Mario Galaxy is honestly like nothing I have ever played before. It's like Mario mixed with awesome graphics, a full orchestra, and every creative idea indie game designers have ever come up with.

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Playing though phantasy star online eps I & II. The game is moving along at an alright pace, it is a good thing I'm doing the side quests though because looking at walkthroughs and the like the main game looks fairly short.
