Who wants to mod my Neo Geo AES for Component Video???
I want to get my NTSC AES equipped for component video on my Toshiba CRT. I have no modification skills and want someone to do a pro quality job for me. I am willing to pay or trade you games/other items. Let me know if you are interested in helping me out!

It very well could be the neo-geo forums, but I really thought there was a forum out there (NG) specialty where a lot of their members were heavily into modding. I just can't recall the exact site...
(FC, AVFC, NES, SFC x2, SNES, N64, GC x2, Wii x2)*(G&W x7, GB, GBpocket, GBASP, DS-L x2)
(GEN, SS x3, DC x3)*(PCE-Duo)*(Xbox:500GB)*(NGCDZ, NGPC)*(PS1, PStwo, PS3:160GB, PSP.3K)

There are a couple members on there I know of that I could message, but I wanted to give someone here first shot at a fun project and some extra cashD.D.D. wrote:It very well could be the neo-geo forums, but I really thought there was a forum out there (NG) specialty where a lot of their members were heavily into modding. Edit: I emailed Jamma Nation X for a quote on component and svideo mods. They also do stick mods, so I asked about sanwa stick and buttons with an octo gate

I've done the s-video on an AES before, it looks freakin' fantastic on a CRT. Dirt cheap too. Didn't hook it up to a flatscreen/HD to check how that looked though.

Need FreeMCboot? I'll install it on your PS2 Memory Card for free if you cover postage both ways.

Yea I have heard the component looks gorgeous as well. I have a small toshiba sitting next to my imac for retro gaming. I just ordered svideo cables for the saturn and snes, so I need to get the neogeo up to par as well.skate323k137 wrote:I've done the s-video on an AES before, it looks freakin' fantastic on a CRT. pm me, i think you should go with a circle gate not octo. i can also do a stick mod. tighter throw, bat top, etc...Bradtemple87 wrote:D.D.D. wrote:They also do stick mods, so I asked about sanwa stick and buttons with an octo gate

Xian Xi does great work and is reliable. I've bought from him a few times without issues.Bradtemple87 wrote:Edit: I emailed Jamma Nation X for a quote on component and svideo mods. They also do stick mods, so I asked about sanwa stick and buttons with an octo gate

I was thinking of him exactly when I thought about members on the site. Is he part of this website?synbiosfan wrote:Xian Xi does great work and is reliable. Re: Who wants to mod my Neo Geo AES for Component Video???
Have you considered a SCART to component converter? That's what I used before switching to a Sony PVM and it works great! The best part is that any system that outputs RGB will benefit from it, not just your AES. I might loan mine out to you but I'll have to see if kool_kitty is interested first (I'm loaning him my 14" Toshiba CRT).
