Kill Bill is great, Inglorious Basterds is magnificent, Jackie Brown is fun and Death Proof is the most boring film ever made.final fight cd wrote:reservoir dogs

I just watched Tron Legacy. I only watched it for one reason, and that reasons name is Olivia Wilde. The movie did not disappoint.

It took forever to get to it, but we finally saw Inception tonight.
It felt like a heist movie within a psychological sci fi thriller. Or something.
Anyway, we loved it.
Though the very last scene, I just knew they were gonna do that. I knew it!

Yeah, I guess Death Proof would be boring if it wasn't for the greatest car chase scene ever filmed.
Okay, it may not be the greatest ever. But its really awesome. It's worth seeing the movie just for that.

I hate it when they do that, just leaving it open for a sequel. I wish people would just make one off movies these days like they use to instead of trying to make a trilogy out of everything.CFFJR wrote:Though the very last scene, I just knew they were gonna do that. I knew it!

I really don't see how Inception in any real way left itself open for a sequel. A somewhat-ambiguous ending does not a sequel hook make.BRIK wrote:I hate it when they do that, just leaving it open for a sequel. Michael Bay steals footage from Michael Bay:
The funny thing is, I actually really liked The Island
- so this makes me more interested in Transformers 3.

I thought it was huge clue that they would be continuing the franchise.AppleQueso wrote:I really don't see how Inception in any real way left itself open for a sequel. SPOILER ALERT > > They're still stranded in the dream world fuckery, no big blockbuster would halt the story like that, especially when there is huge amounts of money to be made.
