Deja Vu II is on it? That's cool.
Snatcher and Policenauts didn't come out for it.

Re: So I just bought a CDi...
I play burned CD-i games almost exclusively. YMMV depending on CD-i model, burner, and media. For reference mine's a CDI-220, I use Taiyo Yuden CDR media, and an old 4x sony CDR drive.vlame wrote: so far there is no way to play burned CD-i games.
It's not bad, which is really good for the CD-i. It's got a really goofy 90s new-age style to it though.noiseredux wrote: supposedly Tetris on CDi is really good.
Badly. It could be passable for a laugh, but actually playing the game requires a lot of repetition and memorization.Majors wrote:Burncycle...the only game I ever heard good things about. Dunno how it aged though.
I recommend The Apprentice and Plunderball. Defender of the Crown is a pretty good port I think, but I was never any good at that game so it's hard to be sure.
Honestly a lot of the fun of the CD-i is seeing just how bad it gets.

I've played burned CD-i games without issue. Mine is also a CDi-220. I've used Verbatim and Sony CDs burned on a Thinkpad DVD burner. No issues. I get them from emuparadise. Its just a bin and cue file, basic stuff.

Those games are quite expensive, you know. Like, over $100, last I heard.noiseredux wrote:good or bad, I'd get all 3 Zelda games if I had a CDi. Just because, y'know. You could.

I think Faces of Evil and Wand of Gamelon aren't THAT expensive, but Zelda's Adventure is meant to go for quite a hefty sum.BoringSupreez wrote:Those games are quite expensive, you know. that's fine. I'm not planning on getting a CDi. But I'm just saying if I DID, those are the games I would want to hunt down and add to the collection.BoringSupreez wrote:Those games are quite expensive, you know. Didn't playboy release some VideoCDs for the CDi? It would be a neat conversation piece, anyway...
Re: So I just bought a CDi...
Yes, there are some adult titles. Haven't bothered with any myself. But if I found some I'd buy them as a conversation piece.
