Brian Lara International Cricket 2005 - PS2 or PC?

Post by YoshiEgg25 »

I got the PS2 version of this game a bit ago at a Salvation Army in town for under $4. Figured I'd take a chance on it since you don't normally see a PAL game in the States, and I thought I'd try to play it with CRT's crazy PS2 thingy.

For some reason, I opened it up tonight and started looking at the manual and stuff. Everything seemed alright until I looked at the disc. On the left side of the disc, it had this symbol:

Curious, I popped it into my computer, and a window came up asking to install! I did, and I'm now wondering: did I get a PC copy of the game in a PS2 case, or does this disc work on the PS2 as well? I'd try it myself, but I don't have the time at the moment to try to make this PAL game work on my NTSC PS2.

If anyone has any insight, it would be appreciated. :)

I'd guess somehow it got mixed up. Yeah very few cricket video games have EVER been released in the states. Like three or so are on Steam, that's about it I think. Haven't gotten around to playing those.
Lum fan.
