So... much...destruction... of good.... series....must...not...kill...self....

Harvest Moon was good up until the Wii games. It lost all the farming and became too focused on wild animals and riding things other than horses. IDK, the SNES, N64, and PSX games were some of the best. I'd try this game if I could tell who was what sex....
Systems: Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, N64, Gamecube, Xbox 360

WTB: Boxes for a silver Gamecube System(and a hyperport cover), and a box for an Ice Blue N64 console. Will pay 7.50 for each and shipping.

For those who aren't familiar with Rune Factory and find it interesting, there are already some games released in North America (and probably everywhere else) for you to try out! Basically though, it's like Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing mixed with Zelda and the Mana games.

The main series (1-3) is on the DS, with number 4 on the way for 3DS.

The first (and only other) console release is Rune Factory Frontier on the Wii:

There is an "un-dub" patch available for those with a modded Wii console and an aversion to bad dubs. ;)

Tides of Destiny is also planned for the Wii as well as PS3.

If you want Nintendo to get the message about releasing RPGs on the Wii, you know what you should do...

Isn't this supposed to be the gender bender plot Rune Factory? I think I heard that one was coming to PS3 and Wii.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I'll probably get it on Wii unless I get a PS3 before then. Other than visuals they should be the same.

IIRC, I think you have the soul of one of your friends inside of you and you have to find a way to get her back to her own body.

Weird.

In terms of gameplay, they went downhill after HM 3 on GBC. The N64/PS1 titles were the beginning of the end of the farming focus.

So much hate for anime art styles. Then again, those who swear by that style aren't that likable too, but I wish there less of both groups.

Anyways, I heard this news a while back and I think it's cool that Rune Factory is trying to seek new fans. Plus this one is looking pretty damn good so it'll probably be a D1P from me.

I personally found Magical Melody to be a good game. I'm interested in the new one coming to DS/3DS, but I haven't seen any information about it....

EDIT: How do I only quote the part I want!!!!

I would really suggest it. Its a good game. It has a focus on getting the notes, in order to release the Harvest Goddess, but many are farming related, so I've never minded.

PS:My problem with that last quote was I wanted the part where you quoted me, and your reply. Not the rest.

I still maintain that Harvest Moon DS was the best in the series. I don't know about any of you, but I like to be able to carry more than 3 or 4 items around at any given time. :?
