Also Ultimate MvC3 is hilarious but it's funny some people are flipping out about it. Isn't there like 3 versions of SFIV out anyways?
What's funnier are the people who are cool with this but think people are insane for buying new sports games/roster updates every year.
Like yourself?

Haha but yeah that's a good point.

Touche'.

I think it's silly, but you have a point about the sports comparison.

As am I. I don't understand why people bitch about things they don't even plan on buying or playing.

If you're able to enjoy an "update game" and feel the purchase is justifiable, great. If not, great.

I hear you. How about the 3 versions of SF III (not counting the upcoming one), or the bazillion versions of SF II? These fighting game updates are nothing new at all.

Yep, I think it's lame, but I also think it's silly people are flipping out about it. Capcom has always exploited their fighting games like this. Nothing new at all.

It does seem a little extreme in this case though, I'll give the people against the update that. MvC 3 hasn't even been out for 6 months yet and already it's getting a substantial update. Some of those characters were definitely already in development and it's obvious this was the plan from the start.

On the other hand, if you didn't buy MvC 3 and wanted to, this news is probably amazing.

Don't know if this has been posted yet, but a group called Operation Phoenix (much like Operation Rainfall) has pulled together to try and rally support for this game.

http://mml3-opphoenix.blogspot.com/

Things you can do:
Capcom-Unity/Devroom Forum Thread Petition
http://www.capcom-unity.com/devroom/go/ ... UR_PROMISE!!!

2 Facebook Pages gathering likes to show support
http://www.facebook.com/pages/100000-St ... 6248475958

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Revive-Me ... 4286098268

There will also be a mail in campaign to coincide with the release of MML in each region. Looking for fan art, letters, etc.
Mail in campaign dates:
America: August 31, 2011
Europe: December 4, 2011
Japan: December 18, 2011

I usually don't participate in these types of things but I really want to see this game come to fruition; or at least get a prototype version to gauge interest in a greenlight. Spread the word!

I predict it will be just as successful.

That's really too bad, because I seriously wanted this game.

Pointless if you ask me, hate to be the downer but I'm sure Capcom doesn't give a shit. Kind of like NoA.

EDIT: Basically what flamepanther said.

Perhaps we could get them to release it in Europe at least

I still think it was canceled because the 3DS just isn't selling very well. We might as well petition for the quicker release of the 3DS lite, so w can all finally start buying 3DSs without fear of Nintendo trolling us with much better hardware down the line.
