I don't know... is it just gonna jump and scream at me or something?

Just give it a few seconds to load. It took me a little while, too.

Breath of Fire II

No, that's not the scary bit. It's the opening where you give yourself to god.

The IMPRESSIVE fan re-translation cleans up the text a lot, but it's still creepy being introduced to a game like that.

Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.

Some people have a problem with the uncanny valley. You said you were bothered by the basketball looking a little too real. I figured that would bother you too being a bit too real and not real enough. Eh I dunno then.

My question is, why are her eyes so bloodshot?

Thread revival go.

Anyone remember the Pit sequence from Escape from Butcher Bay? That was a very tense moment, pretty scary to be honest.

Also, though it probably wouldn't scare me now, or any of you for that matter, there's something in the original Kingdom Hearts that terrified my 11 year old self when I played it for the first time. That part in Atlantis where you get ambushed by the shark who actually smashes his way through a window to get to you.
I feel old when talking to anyone my age yet too inexperienced to effectively talk to anyone older. Life is grand that way.

I remember it well. That game is incredibly awesome and criminally underrated. (Has anyone played the 360 and PS3 sequel? If so, how is it?)
