Capcom WOULD stick a new MegaMan Legends-themed stage into Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 wouldn't they?

Keep in mind it isn't CAPCOM sticking a Mega Man Legends-themed stage into it - it's Niitsuma, Ono, Neo_G, and several other folks who have been with the company for many many years who are sticking it in. They have their hands on the pulse of their community, so they know what they want, but they are also big enough veterans that they have some pull with the profit-oriented 'suits' who run Capcom.

I seriously believe fighting games are the only games where any sort of catering to long-time fans will be done when it comes to Capcom these days. With all the big wigs from their other departments gone, they'll be focused solely on creating the most LCD shit they can.

agreed. There's a lot of Capcom-bashing going on these days, but considering how happy I am with MvC3 and SF4, it's hard for me to get in on that.

It's surprising to me that so many people have not learned their lesson with Activision. Is the company as a whole a pile of shit? Yes. Was Bizarre Creations a pile of shit? No! But because people couldn't look past the Activision logo on Blur, it was left to rot on shelves - and then Bizarre Creations was no more.

Fuck the companies, they're all money-hungry assholes who don't care about their fans - support DEVELOPERS.

So you approve of mild updates to both of those games? Super, Arcade and Ultimate editions. Capcom has always milked SF, well SF 2 any way, but MvC also, shame on capcom.

I was ecstatic when they announced Megaman Legends 3. I was crushed when they said it was on 3ds. I finally come to terms with the fact that I will probably have to buy a 3ds. My first gameboy purchase since the original, and then they go and cancel it. What a boot to the face. Capcom has definitely been sucking pretty fucking hard lately. I look at my shelf and can't see anything from them that was outstanding this generation. Fun maybe, but nothing outstanding. Sigh.

(to show Capcom ain't the only ones doing it)
Guilty Gear XX
Guilty Gear XX #Reload
Guilty Gear XX Slash
Guilty Gear XX Accent Core
Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus

Arcade Edition was a bit of a flop, but calling Super Street Fighter IV or Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 a 'mild' update would be like calling the Wall Street crash of 1929 a 'mild' economic set-back.

It's expected that they'll update these games. Things are discovered that aren't meant to be there. That's how it is with any competitive fighting game. I'd rather they fix it so that the game (and its community) might have some longevity, than just leave it to rot.
