Where to buy AV and S-video jacks for video mods?

I've searched for this, not really found any sellers not from Hong Kong or Taiwan selling these. Also are there different types of mounts?

Best thing is to buy SCART adapters on eBay and strip them for their composite female and / or S-video female jacks...

I got my s-video + RCA jacks at MicroCenter. I just had to pry the end off of the s-video because it was really a "keystone" coupler and I took the male end off. I guess I could've left it, but it was easier to solder the wires separately and fit it inside my genesis.

After modding my Famicom for AV I've been on an AV mod kick. I want to add AV and s-video to my Intellivision and Atari 7800 respectively.

I checked radio shack and didn't find anything. I thought they carried them though, as I thought I had seen them before. I'll check another one.

This RCA jack is SKU 274-346 at $4.19 for a four pack.

The problem with Radio Shack, or The Shack as it is now known, is that most stores do not carry electronic components anymore. They are all cell phones and other junk. There are a number or places on-line, it is just that most have a minimum order. There are Newark, Electronic Goldmine, All Electronics, DigiKey, etc.

I've looked at digikey but I find they're search engine unbearable. I'll check out the others.

I've also read on a few of these mods they suggest using shielded hookup wire. I've only seen regular hook up wire for sale. Are they literally using coax cable for this?
