Even as a kid, I hated Captain Planet. "Save the planet? GO BEAT UP SOME BAD GUYS AND SHUT UP!" ... something like that was running through my mind.

But damnit, I still watched it. :lol:

Yeah, that's exactly what I thought, and did. :?

What kinda kid watches a show they hate? Madness.

Clearly you and I didn't have enough to do back then. What other explanation could there be? :lol:

I'm actually pretty sure something amazing came on after Captain Planet, maybe like the Super Mario Bros Super Show or something. I just remember specifically catching the Captain Planet ending a lot, or him giving a speech about recycling stuff all the time more than anything else. :lol:

What was it about the 90's that made video games so damn amazing?
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I have found the achilles heal to my NBA JAM, and his name is Daniel. The guy beat me three straight last night, so my record falls to 112-4. And not only that, but we had a few beers while playing into the early hours of the morning, and boy, I'm paying for it.
