I went back replayed some MML a month back and was really impressed with the amount of content that went into it. Pretty much what everyone else mentioned about it.

My only gripe though was that I found it a tad too short and easy. A difficulty setting would have been nice - but overall I'd agree it's a fun and involving game. If you decide to find all the items and stuff I'm sure there's more gameplay.

But man, back in the day I remember thinking MML was HARD as Fuuuu. I couldn't defeat the last boss.

It's just a shame they canceled the third installment, I would have been interested in trying it....dunno if I'd buy a 3DS though... :?

I have been looking forward to three games from Capcom:

1. Ace Attorney Investigations 2
2. Ace Attorney vs. Professor Layton
3. Mega Man Legends 3

In the case of MML3, I have never played a MM Legends game before. I was hyped for it because of the great things I've heard about the series from everyone on this forum.

The same case stood for the first two; however, now that I've played through an Ace Attorney game and am playing through a Layton game, this all really angers me. I have one friend that's super into AA that has been pushing this thread at me.

At least in the case of AAvsPL, it isn't Capcom's decision to make, it's Level 5's. Level 5 hasn't even announced their intentions for the Japanese market with that game yet, so I can still hold out hope there.

But between the cancellation of MML3 and the dickish way they did it, the non-localization of AA Investigations 2 (Capcom USA's call), the evil anti-resetting measures of Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D, and the constant cash-grabbing (every Street Fighter IV version, Resident Evil spinoffs), Capcom is becoming the classic hero-turned-villain of the gaming world. And it's sad, because we all know they're better than that.
Gaming accomplishments:
Nibbler (marathon): 251,169,160 / Nibbler (one life): 5,263,360 (WR)
Donkey Kong: 423,100 [L12-1] (150th place as of 2019-01-15)
Super Smash Bros. (N64): Ranked top 5 in Wisconsin from Q1 2016 to Q2 2017
Shrek SuperSlam: won largest tournament in game's history (Shrekfest 2018)

Or we all know they used to be. I think Inafking was their best hope of coming back around.

The side quests needed to get the Shining Laser are a game unto themselves. It took me ages to beat that last boss, as well. In fact, I was going to put the remaining 2 games in the MML series on my "Summer Challenge" list in preparation for the new game, but I guess I don't have to do that anymore. :(

Oh Crapcom....I've always wanted to try some of their games, hell I've only played like two Mega Man games and Monster Hunter Tri, but looks like I can save some money now by buying exclusively used as far as they are concerned.

Remember when Capcom, Konami, and Squaresoft were like the kings or something of gaming?

Hmm, I never heard of the "Shining Laser". Sounds like I'll be replaying this again.
