With Inafune gone, I was kinda worried that it was either going to be cancelled or turn out underwhelming.

But still, this is probably one of the single biggest dick moves I've ever seen a company make. Putting Mega Man Volnutt in TvC (complete with a MML themed stage), putting Tron Bonne in MvC3 (again, with a MML themed stage), announcing the game, even setting up this whole 'devroom' thing allowing for unprecedented fan participation in the game's development. The 3D model viewer...

Other anticipated games that get cancelled usually just have an announcement and maybe an e3 trailer or something and are never talked about again. This on the other hand was one ENORMOUS cocktease after another. Capcom deserves all the venom they're getting from this.

Not really the best news to come about my day. Like plenty of you, I was really excited about this, and was willing to buy a 3DS once this came out.

Now I only like Capcom for Monster Hunter, and I'm hoping they don't fuck that up.

Uh... what? How have I been anti-MML3 from the get go? I don't think I've ever talked about it on this forum. Before the news of this cancellation, I've only made one post in this entire thread. I don't think saying it wasn't going to live up to it's predecessors qualifies as dancing on it's grave.
