Simply put, they aren't as good as expected.

I'd say the software line-up is solely to blame, but that's not entirely true. (It's mostly true.) We're suffering from the effects of generation 1 hardware, which with the 3DS have some pretty big shortcomings -- battery life, stick/d-pad placement, etc.

I don't think Nintendo has done a good enough job marketing the system as being DIFFERENT from the DS, and the software line-up even in the near future is still pretty poor.

Capcom has been sucking hard lately. They used to be one of the very best video game companies. I haven't bought a (new) Capcom game in years and it doesn't look like that will change anytime soon.

Last time I bought a new Capcom game was Bionic Commando Rearmed back in '08, and that was 3 years ago. They really haven't been that good for the last few years, like you said.

First the next two Phoenix Wright games won't get localized, and now this? You know, last night I was debating whether Atlus or Capcom was the better game company, but now the answer is clear. Capcom is now the Japanese Activision; they've lost touch with their customers and have no intention of getting it back.

I was going to make a Namdai comparison, but Activision works too.

I have lost all hope for Capcom; from Resident Evil 5 to Marvel vs Capcom 3 and now this, Capcom has lost all my faith. Don't forget the price.

Nintendo, we were willing to pay 250€ for it as long as all those dream games came out for it. Already 2 games I wanted BAAAAAAAAAAD are canceled (Saint's Row and Megaman Legends).

Basically....I only want 2 games for the 3DS now. Luigi's Mansion 2 and Phoenix Wright VS Layton.

Anyone knows how PWvsL is going? Don't want to see that canceled as well.
