Child Of Eden sold poorly too, pretty sad, 2 original and interesting games get ignored.

People love sequels, man. If it's got a 2 or a 3 in the title, people will clamor for it. So Vanilla Ice Cream: The Chocolate Chip Saga ends up in the bargain bin way too soon while Cow Patty 5: Revenge of the Stomach Bacteria is purchased in droves.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Sad but true. However I would buy both of those games.

I did not realize Vanquish has (probably now) exceeded 1M in sales. I love that game and Shadows looks great but I'll wait for a price drop so EA doesn't see any profit from my pockets. As for Child of Eden, it's going to be just like Rez in terms of its legacy and desirability: it will be pined for long after they stop making new copies. It's a shame but I'm waiting for the PS3 release since I don't have a 360, so that *may* see a small bump in sales if there are enough of a similar mind to myself.
I just started playing a Link to the past on the SNES. I got my first SNES about a month ago and Zelda several weeks ago and have just started recently. So far I've gotten to having to beat Agahnim in Hyrule Castle.
I like the game quite a lot, but I started playing before I replaced the battery which is something I do to ever SNES game cart I get. So that is on my mind the whole time if I start it and find stuff gone.

You know, I got a SNES a few months back, and oddly enough every game I've played has had no issue with saving. (Though maybe I should look into getting batteries for my old carts)
I've been playing Super Punchout on my SNES the most. Still can't beat Masked Muscle. (Hate that guy! I HATE HIM! >:( )

Bayonetta was able to get by on sex appeal and gimmick factor, and Vanquish was able to get by for being a shooter. Both are actually great games regardless, but those are the reasons they were able to sell so well. Shadows of the Damned doesn't have any trump cards like that.
Also, it doesn't really look that good. I'm a huge Suda and Mikami fan, and this didn't really draw me in.

Meh, I've never had issues with saving on any carts with a battery but it's the "what if" that bothers me. I'm the guy who if something could happen too, it would.

My friend: "It plays like RE4 but is more over the top", that says enough to excite me.
Shadows of the damned is one of the best games of this generation...
