SS Controller mystery

Post by vlame »

I just recently got into saturn stuff.

Looked around and bought 3 pads (1 3D, 1 white and 1 THIS IS COOL)

Everything seemed fine until I use the white pad to play CAPCOM fighters, when i move [from 12 to 6 o clock] with the controller it randomly pauses.

I switched the white PCB/wire lead with my american type 2 pad. IT STILL PAUSES. switched the rubber button feelers [sp] still pauses. no matter what's in the pad it always does it. but the american pad never acts weird when the white parts are in it.

this doesn't happen on anything but capcom games. on KOF it's fine.

anybody know what's going on?

Use it to throw off your friends just as they are inputing a massive button combo for a huge attack.

So it's only doing this with the white pad? Can you post a picture of the pad, because maybe there's a part of the casing for the controller that's pressing down whenever you do the command that keeps setting it off.

when i first got it, it made a loose part sound, like a screw was loose inside. i opened it and i guess fixed that problem. then this started happening.
