Favorite Ninja Game

I think everyone loves ninjas, so the real question is what is the BEST ninja game ever? I like pretty much ever ninja game I've played, from Tenchi to Ninja Turtles. The best Ninja Game to date for me is probbaly

Ninja Gadien Black
Shinobi 3
Sengoku 3

In that order, what is your line up?

I'm not sure which one it was, but one of the sengoku's (ace?) for saturn was defenitely my favorite, because the only other ninja game I played was ninja gaiden for nes. Even though gaiden is something of a classic, it really doesn't do anything for me.

It's a pity I never played Shinobi 3 OR Sengoku 3..but I am very fond of Revenge of Shinobi(GEN) and Ninja Gaiden 1(NES).

They are both just plane awesome, I recommend getting them on emulator or in their respective formats as quickly as you can, lol.

Shinobi has an almost cinamatic quality to it. The music, movement, bosses ect.. are all astoundingly well done. The game play moves fast but not to the point it becomes to bussy or hectic, and it's very involved game play which is unusial for a Gen game.

Sengoku 3 is allot like the Dungeon and Dragons Collection and Guiardian Heroes. It has better graphics, or should I say higher quality art work. The special move systems rival that of Guardian Heros, and the level progression is very simmilar to the Dungeons and Dragons game.

I enjoyed the first tenchu for the playstation, when it came out, it was amazing... seems like as a result every tenchu after that has been just a copy of the first... wish that was a line that would have stayed innovative.

Ninja cop is quite frankly one of the best 2d games every made, its like a combination of bionic commando and shinobi but better than both. It was made for the gameboy advance, and never really sold well but man is it the coolest game I ever played with a ninja. You get a grappling hook, ninja stars, katana and ninja magic. You just cant beat that. It even has replay value in the form of a time trial mode, which is very difficult. If you havent played this game, do yourself a favor and play it if you like 2d games, its is in my opinion more fun than Super mario world.

man my favorite ninja games are
Ninja Gaiden (arcade ), Strider ps1 and the arcade, Ninja Gaiden 1,2,3 for nes, Ninja Gaiden XboX the first half anyway, shinobi (arcade) , shinobi 3 (genesis) , Tenchu ps1, the ninja turtle arcade game was fun and the nintendo version was cool as well.

NINJA IN THE USA.. punch bam ninja neck throw. Ha... Ninja gaiden arcade is the number 1 of my favorite ninja games. that whopping 3 hit combo never gets old. The ear drum blasting cyber ninja jams really get juices flowing.

Ninja gaiden for the nes pissed me off because it was soo hard, but I loved every minute of it. The little comic ish parts in the game really made the struggle through the hard levels worth it.
If it was not for that stupid bat that kept reappearing and knocking me into that same watery grave I would have never known I could punch holes into walls as a kid.

Ninja gaiden (xbox) was one hell of a game when i first rented it. I was like damn, this is hard core. Ninjas heads flying, ninjas spurting gallons of glorious red, and and what's this.... miles of end less ninja combos. I could not get enough of it. Ninja vs the cool fat cyborg on a blimp. Ninja vs a tank, NINJA Vs a helicopter with a bow and arrow. I need ed more.... and up to the midway point I got it. Then those stupid looking thing 1 and thing 2 monsters appeared. Then different variations of the same enemy started to appear. Then the bosses became lamer and lamer and before I knew it I was up to my arm pits in GHOST FISH.

I will never forgive the s.o.b who thought GHOST FISH would be an awesome bad guy?. Come on man, gimme a break. GHOST FISH???? there fish man, not even cool looking deep sea angler fish. Just plain stupid GHOST FISH. Other than that the first half of Ninja G for the xbox was really cool.

Shinobi , Stider. Those who like it you know why you do.

As for the first Tenchu. Snaking around and actually stealth killing was a really wicked thing to ad to the ninja game thing. The really cool part for me was Shô Kosugi playing the japanese voice for Rikimaru. Trust me, as a ninja hes one mean looking s.o.b. You should see him in Enter the NINja and Revenge of the NINJA. Hell while your at it rent or buy Nine deaths of the NINJA.

I have yet to try Ninja cop but I heard its really bad ass. My friend wupthewickedworm recently told me about this turbo G 16 ninja game that is supposed to be hard core. I cant remember the name for the life of me. SENGOKU 3? holy crap. never herd of it but im looking at some screen shots of it right now. COOL. not one ghost fish is sight.
