BTW, how worth playing are the original Metal Gear titles? I tried the first one a bit and it looks entertaining but the level design is kind of bland. The second one looks more interesting but perhaps I shouldn't play it without playing the first.

How canon are they? Are they related to the MGS series?

I agree with BoringSupreez. They're very much worth playing. Metal Gear 2 is one of the best 16-bit games I've ever played. I'd honestly suggest playing Metal Gear 2 and skipping the first one, unless you're the patient type. Metal Gear 2 just takes everything Metal Gear did well and multiplies by 10. I guarantee you'll be impressed.

Or you could just play The Twin Snakes for starters?...

Metal Gear 2 is one of the best 16-bit games I've ever played.

8-bit. Metal Gear 2 was an MSX2 game, and MSX2 used an 8-Bit Zilog Z80A CPU. But that makes the game all the more impressive, doesn't it?

haha, Yes, I know about the MSX titles. I only played the first one on MGS3 Subsistence though, I'll have to check out the REAL Metal Gear 2 game someday.

Tonight I learned yet another helpful life lesson from one of my patients. If you're on the street corner selling coke and you see the cops coming to bust you don't eat all your coke. Having been taught this valuable lesson I will now know better than to do this and wind up going to the ER in handcuffs, seizing uncontrollably, aspirating my vomit and doing all of this with a white powder moustache looking like and ad for "Got Coke?"



Latex paint, despite being thick and creamy, does not coat your stomach and provide the same relief as pepto bismol.



Never, ever leave flashlights, shampoo bottles, beer bottles or any long, circular object on the floor because someday you will fall on it and it will somehow, work its way up your rectum.



Always wait until finishing your woodwork with the skillsaw prior to using your meth.

I love how the spam bots are becoming topical and spouting off data semi related to the topic like an encyclopedia.

Anybody else get a kick out of this? I mean its annoying, especially when their posts bump old topics with useless nonsense, but its kinda funny too.
