I can't wait for this to be a pop phenomenon: male kids wearing hello kitty attire to appear "different". It's pretty hilarious. Just the idea of a kid saying "Screw you DAD! You don't EVEN understand!" while wearing a pink backpack is funny to me.

Well, they prefer the term "scene", but yeah.

& Invader Zim is a tad bit included. As is Blood On The Dancefloor

The amusing thing is that the fanbase of that show is comprised almost entirely of the very people that show was mocking.

It goes totally over their heads, I guess. They probably think the show is condoning their weirdness. The Invader Zim fanbase really bugs me, because A: So many of the people who love it now and scream that Nickelodeon is evil for cancelling it didn't give a rip about it while it was still running (they're just posers), and B: People who do the emo thing and actually mean it and hipsters bug me. I like the show, but the fanbase seems to be trying its best to ruin it for me.

I just do my best to avoid the rabid fanbases of anything. It's rarely good.
