Pretty good take @ Flea Market

Post by Hyp81 »

I went flea marketing yesterday and aquired quite a collection, for good prices, too.

For my Nintendo, I got Paper Boy for $3. Works beautifully and it's just as much fun as the Game Boy version.

For my Genesis, I got a Taz-Mania with box and manual for $5.

For the N64, I got three titles that will keep me very busy for a bit. Rogue Squadron, which is a lot of fun and the most "authentic" feeling Star Wars flight sim game I've plaid (next to TIE Squadron for the PC, maybe), Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (only played that a bit to make sure it worked, but it seems great!), and Jet Force Gemini, which I played for about an hour last night and really liked. It's got a somewhat similar feel to Goldeneye, which I love, although the shifting view can be somewhat annoying. Zelda was $8, and the other two were $5. The price on Zelda seemed pretty good!

I also found a Sega Dreamcast system and 1 controller for $13. It was really dirty, but I cleaned it and put another $20 into cords and another controller. So for $33, I have a working Dreamcast. We went to Power Gamer II in Glen Burnie, MD, and bought 3 games at a 2-for-3 special-- Centipede, Mrs. Pac Man 2, and Frogger 2. And we got a free racing wheel from the manager who said he'd marked them down to $5 and they were still just sitting there so take one!

Nice haul but you might want to post it in this thread instead of starting your own.

I was just in Baltimore on vacation, and I couldn't find a retro game store anywhere. Do you happen to know of any good places?
