Need some feedback on my game

okay this is a very small glimps into this major project i've been doing with a team of 3 people.

My main duties are pretty much graphic designer and developer.

Basically this image is just show from the begining phases mock of starting from point 1---->2----->3----and so forth.

We've been in developement for last 8 months lol
I realy want to bring in simple gameplay , exotic backgrounds, great platforming and shooting with vibrant playful colors. Basically this game will be a blend of mario and megaman

As of right now we have pretty much everything program , but just tweaking everything little thing as close to our vision.

Last but not least, we do not have title or name. If you want you could throw up some names if you dont mind

Developement stages

the controlls are fairly simply
A- shoot
B- Jump
--> + --> dpad = dash
S- Special

One of my favorite enemy in the game. We took the idea of a chinese vampire and mixed with a loveable squirrel and you get this



chinese vampire if you dont knwo what they look like.

What platform are you working towards? Is this going to be a PC-only game?

Or am I too early in asking this?

well right now our main focus is to bring it to the apple app store.
If it does well or people like it , i will do whatever i can to bring it to the pc table as well.

also you mention jumpman lol, but here is another character model im working on possibly to replace the original. He still have alot of influence from megaman, but less child like of that of jumpman

It looks like a smartphone game to me, because of the onscreen controls. My biggest suggestion would be about those controls; touch screens do not have the same tactile feel as a controller, so take time in ensuring that the player will always be certain where they will move based on where they touch. Believe me, this is crucial in smartphone games.
