There is no difference between used and refurbished. Refurbished is just a fancy word.

what would you rather buy? which one sounds better? The word USED, means just that; used, old, cheap, worthless. Refurbished means that somebody took time to fix it, but like others have said, did they really?

Saying 'Refurbished' is just fancy jargon sellers use to help you decide to spend something with them.

This reminds me of something. Gamestop changed their wording a few years ago on their labels. Back then stickers said "USED" and now they say "PRE-OWNED". Its for the same reason, Pre-owned sounds much more nicer and safer than used!

So in the end, its just a case of common sense, investigate the product and determine if it is worth your time.

Bubble Bobble actually. My sister and I were playing it through again and got fed up with one of the levels in the low 50's... the one with the spaceship type critters all lined up at the top and you with no way other than bubble blowing to get to them! Yech! So we skipped that and went on another 25 levels before she had to get to college. Good times.

I am not a bro, by the way... I'm a chick who loves my games!

It's best on game forums to keep it to yourself if you are female. On Racketboy, it doesn't matter, but I wouldn't reveal your gender on most other game forums if I were you. Otherwise, every time you make an angry or bluntly rude sounding post, people will make remarks about PMS. At least, that was how it was on IGN.

It's rather sad how misogynistic the gaming community can be.

Thanks for the heads up. I teach high school science all year, so I am pretty thick-skinned when it comes to such BS.
