Hello all! I've followed this thread with great interest for a while now, and earlier today I made a find that I believe will inspire the collectors here. I acquired 4 SEALED TG-16 games and 3 loose games for only 5 dollars each at a thrift store. They still have the original store tags and back shelf holders on the sealed games. They were priced at $15 each, but I persuaded the clerk to lower them to $5 by convincing him that they were 'old floppy disks' that 'require special hardware' and that they would never sell for $15 each. It was indeed helpful that the clerk obviously had no idea what they were and that the loose Hu-cards could in fact be confused for floppy disks or memory cards. In short, there are still brand new and used TG-16 games out for cheap, as I happily found out earlier today. The 4 sealed games are Bravoman, Neutopia, Ninja Spirit, and Military Madness. The other 3 are Dead Moon, Champions Forever boxing, and Tiger Road, all for a total of only $35 and no sales tax!! I'll post images soon...

I'll be happy to do so, when they are for sale in the near future. (Don't worry, they will be :) In the meantime, I've uploaded an album of them here http://s321.photobucket.com/albums/nn39 ... e%20stuff/
The image codes seem to be somewhat finicky for now....

TG-16 in a thrift store - possibly the rarest find of the summer.

Nothing too crazy, but I picked this up for $15 today.

Game Gear (Works) with
-Game Geenie
-Sega Carrying case
-Road Rash
-Sonic Chaos
-Shining Force: The Sword Of Haiya

I haven't played a game gear in probably 15 years, so i'm kind of excited to finally have one.

Now to find a battery pack!

Congrats on your find! I've been trying to find shining force for years!

I dont think you should get a battery pack original, they are many years old and will not hold a charge. Just get a plug for it. I'm sure you'll find one.

I just bought a complete Virtual Boy in really good shape with an official hard case (released by Nintendo for VB rentals at Blockbuster) and boxed copies of Red Alarm, Golf, Mario Tennis, and Baseball, as well as a power adapter for 60$! :D
