I have this one:

The black is sold out, not sure if its temporary on amazon or not - It is also available in white, also available in dual charger as well if you only needed to charge (2) wiimotes.

Instead of a gun housing, get one of these...

...and one of these:

The gun grip is way better than any regular gun attachment because it has buttons in the trigger and hammer instead of just physically pressing the buttons on the Wii remote like the others do. The only drawback is that only Nyko's "Wand" remotes will work with it.

The Wand+ will works with the gun grip, and is also an exceptionally nice remote by itself. It looks nice, it has a soft texture, works well, fits into regular Wii accessories, AND functions as a Motion Plus controller. I got one just to use with the grip and was surprised to find how uncharacteristically classy it is all on its own.

No issues with my Energizer charge station. I also had a Nyko charge station on my first go with the Wii. No issues there either. I do not see how they could possibly "break" Wii remotes.

They do. I had an Energizer induction charger break itself and a Wii remote about a week after I bought it. Upon calling Energizer I found out that Energizer doesn't make these products, PDP does.

from Nintendo

If you are using rechargeable batteries, the only type of battery recommended are Nickel Metal Hydride batteries. When it comes to using rechargeable batteries, you must follow manufacturer guidelines for safety and proper usage. Failure to do so could cause damage to the Wii Remote and void the warranty. For more battery information, click here.

Now tell me this, if there wasn't a problem using chargers, why wouldn't Nintendo make and market one themselves?

I don't recommend Wii-specific charging stations. I just use rechargeable AA batteries. It is a lot more useful when you have multiple game consoles that use AA batteries for the wireless controllers.

So you had one Wii remote break due to a potentially bad charger, and that means all chargers break Wii remotes? You do realize that regular batteries from any brand can explode and break your Wii remote as well. It happens. Not everything is manufactured perfectly 100% of the time.

If it causes damage it voids your warranty. Makes sense. Your warranty would also be void if a regular battery exploded and destroyed the Wii remote. I do not see a point here.
