Do you pronounce 'th' as 'th' or 'd'/'f'?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

What? Being born in Houston I've never heard anyone pronounce it in that way.

I swear I heard Bostonian say House Ton before when I was there for work. Or maybe I'm just on crack.

I was rather amused once when a rather ditzy out-of-stater pronounced Fuqua street as Fuck-You-A.

I never heard any Bostonian pronounce it that way. Only in Greenwich Village, NYC.

We do pronounce some town names differently that throw off the non-natives

Examples:

Concord, MA - pronounced Con-kerd
Peabody - pronounced pea-bud-ee
Westford - west-ferd
Acton - act-in
Worcester - wooster
Bedford - bed-ferd
Gloucester - glos-ster

For Concord, Westford, Acton, and Bedford, that's the only way I've ever heard those pronounced.

In Manhattan, Houston Street, which demarcates SoHo from NoHo, is pronounced "house-ton," rather than "hyoo-ston." The street name aside, however, I've never in my life heard anyone from New York refer to the Texan city as "house-ton."
