Racketboy Genre Guides / Vote For Future Guides

Post by racketboy »

So I've finally got the genre guides organized:
http://www.racketboy.com/guide/genre-guides

And I'd like to get your input on which guides should be the highest priority for the near future. Cast your vote here:
http://www.racketboy.com/announcement/2 ... -next.html
(vote for up to three guides)

Thanks for your support, all!

Nice work.

I went with...
- Defining Beatemups
- First Person Shooters Hidden Gems (UNREAL GOLD!)
- Survival Horror Hidden Gems

Also you misspelled survival, lol.

Defining RPGs and Action RPGs would be great ones for me to see; I'm pretty much fallen in love with the genre at this point even from just a couple games :!:

I voted for ones I'm most curious about, so i went for Puzzle -defining games and hidden gems and music hidden gems. I only really know the big-name games for those genres, so hearing some alternatives would be nice!

Hm, maybe I'm stupid, but I can't seem to vote...? Unless its closed already.

In fact, I'm seeing a results list with three choices highlighted as though I'd already voted, and I know I didn't.

So for the cool picture with the poll, what is that game in the middle? I'm drawing a blank at the moment. I recognize Chrono trigger and Earthworm Jim (I Hope) but I can't place the other one...
