It's all about Jamestown for me right now. 8)

17th century British colonialism and space martian battles for the win!

I've passed the game on "Legendary" difficulty and I'm working on some of the unlockable content now.

Harmful Park - the cutesy graphics of the twinbee/cotton series, goofy-ass bosses - oh, and it's friggin hard too. I see it has a multi-tap 4p option in the manual, but haven't tried that out yet.

Yeah Jamestown is a blast so far. I really like how intuitive the controller setup is (weird thing to like a guess). Now I just need one of my friends to come over and trick him/her into playing the game with me..... How come nobody likes shmups these days? Though TBH it takes a lot of work just to get them to play some Street Fighter with me.

I'm also all over shmupMAME and some DonPachi and various raizing (8ing) and Psikyo shmups

Nice, Blazing Lazers isn't short, and gets pretty cheap at certain points. The extends/stay alive at death items really help though. Bitchin tunes too.

Yeah it took a couple of days before I got it. It takes a little over an hour to play through so when you die at like the last boss it's pretty frustrating. But yeah everyone should get a copy especially because it is one of the cheapest good US Hu cards.
Bubble Level music is the bestest btw

Yeah, the game just feels right instantly. I don't feel like I need the ship to be any faster or slower than it is. It's fast enough to out run the bullets, yet slow enough to still make the fine movements needed to weave between the bullets. Though, it does help that one gun slows you down while the other doesn't. I use that strategically for maneuvering through bullets all the time.

I just passed the game on the "Divine" difficulty level and I am now working on the Judgement difficulty. My God! It gets really hard at this point. I've managed to pass the first level on Judgement, but I'm not sure I have what it takes to beat the others. We'll see.
