Ocarina of Time 3d...am I missing something?
Ocarina of Time 3d...am I missing something?
So, I got the longshot and I'm thinking "Great I can finally get that heart piece from the bloke on the roof in Kakariko Village" I get up there and wouldn't you know it all he keeps saying to me is "Use X to get a good view" or something....is there some other pre-requisite or am I screwed? I am almost certain I haven't already got it.

Uhhh... he doesn't give a piece of heart? I thought you have to drop in to a chimney or something.

His Ocarina of Time counterpart is the man looking at Death Mountain on a roof in Kakariko Village. He gives Link a Piece of Heart when Link talks to him after he manages to get on the roof by using the Hookshot.[9]

As Young Link, go to the top of that tower near him and do a sideways jump towards the left. You should grab on to the fence. From there, you can get on top of the roof and get your Piece of heart from that guy.

Tried that. I've now talked to him as both young and old link. He won't fork it over.

Yeah it worked for me as well, I was just kind of screwing around doing my best Spider-Man impression with the longshot in Kakariko Village, and Bam! Heart piece! Totally forgot about that one.

Ok I know I did not get it, because I was following the guide for things to do once you get the longshot, and that was the first thing I did...and the first time ive been up there.....yet...somehow, I now have all 36 Heart Pieces.

Not to nitpick, buy why is this in the RPG forum?

While I agree with you I'm not willing to start that whole argument over again by moving it to the Nintendo forum.
