Bad dudes (nes) the title is almost as bad as the game.

Great Names:

Tomb Raider
Jade Empire
Freedom Fighters
Spyhunter
Deathsmiles
Contra Shattered Soldier
Devil May Cry
MDK
Fear Effect
Medal of Honor
Shinobi
Skies of Arcadia
Shadow of the Colossus
State of Emergency
Tenchu Wrath of Heaven
Prince of Persia
Space Channel 5
House of the Dead
The Darkness
Condemned
Stranglehold
God of War
Eternal Darkness
Full Spectrum Warrior
Folklore

Bad Names:
Mega Man(He's not even a man at all)
Streets of Rage(Cheesy)
Castlevania(It's Transylvania with Castle shoved in, not very original. I'd prefer something cool sounding like the Nocturne series or the Vampire Hunter Chronicles)
Super Mario Bros(Any title with super and Mario is lame beyond description)
Most 8-bit and 16-bit titles in general. Coming up with great names wasn't the norm back then
Darksiders(It has absolutely nothing to do with the game at all)
Stretch Panic(It just sounds stupid)
Psychonauts(Great game, but the name just makes the average joe go, "huh?")
Guitaroo Man(Same as above)
Alice Madness Returns(Couldn't they have just called it American McGee's Alice 2?)
Bloodrayne(Seriously, that name just sounds ridiculous)

For some reason your reasons for these cracked me up. Mega Man, He's not even a man at all. Someone should meme it.

Yeah, my bad names section is half joking but those reasons kind of make sense in my head

"Little Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ"
"Zombie Panic in Wonderland"

Amazingly, the games are not related.

How come doesn't it? The game is about one of the Four Horsemen of Apocalypse. By definition those on the dark side.

Shadow Harvest: Phantom Ops

Sounds like some has been playing around with a random game name generator.

Not really, the horsemen in this game's storyline are the enforcers of order and balance for the Council(which basically exists to keep everyone in Heaven, Hell and Earth in line). They're like the law officers of the universe, not minions of darkness

At least go with the proper arcade name: Bad Dudes vs Dragon Ninja.

I forgot that that was the full proper name, the NES was simply bad dudes.

What was even worse than the title was the opening scene where the general tells you that the president has been kidnapped by ninjas, and asks if you are bad enough to save him.
