my contribution to the iphone emulation community

Post by ac_90 »

a lot of people use gpsPhone for running GBA games on their iPhone, but i've noticed the majority of skins included with the software as well as from the community all control awful and look tacky. i created this one to make something more clean & simple that functions as best as possible.

the biggest improvement it makes is that the space allocated to each button is massive, so as long as you tap somewhere remotely in the vicinity of the button, it will register. it's also designed to provide the most space to buttons you push the most often, meaning it will actually improve the controls to all the games you play using this app.

i also had a hell of a time trying to figure out how to do this on my own as there's no good tutorials for how to make skins yourself. all the ones that are out there only teach you how to visually alter the default skins, so i created a template & instructions for how to make your own from scratch & completely edit the layout to your preference.

enjoy!
