I always thought "Resident Evil" sounded lame. Capcom should have changed the U.S. games' names to "Biohazard" starting with the PS2/GC/DC generation.

again, it's kind of supposed to be lame. Tongue firmly in cheek.hashiriya1 wrote:I always thought "Resident Evil" sounded lame. Capcom should have changed the U.S. games' names to "Biohazard" starting with the PS2/GC/DC generation.

Yeah, I mean, I agree that it works, but Bio Hazard sounds sweet.noiseredux wrote:again, it's kind of supposed to be lame. Tongue firmly in cheek.

yeah, I think bottom line is that it's fitting. The title is just as shlocky as the game. I never liked the Biohazard title because it just made me think of the band.brunoafh wrote:Yeah, I mean, I agree that it works, but Bio Hazard sounds sweet.noiseredux wrote:again, it's kind of supposed to be lame. Oh, it is? I never played any of them for more than 5 minutes so I didn't know the games were not very serious.

it's not so much that they're not supposed to be serious, but just that they're in fond tribute to cheesy horror movies.hashiriya1 wrote:noiseredux wrote:again, it's kind of supposed to be lame. I don't think obvious parody games are allowed to count. That's the genius of Barkley: Shut up and Jam. This was a serious game title.
