The Metal Gear Solid Series
Original MGS for ps1
Two copies of twin snakes
MGS2 substance
MGS3 subsistence
MGS4
MGS4 Collectors Edition
Metal Gear Solid Essentials Collection (1,2,3)
But I don`t own more than 2 copies of anything among my collection. However, this will change once the HD versions of the Konami games are released. Silent Hill, Zone of the Enders, and Metal Gear Solid.
What game do you own the most versions/copies of?

Re: What game do you own the most versions/copies of?
Super Puzzle Fighter II
GBA - this was the first version I got and fell in love with the game. Easily one of my most played GBA carts. The only game I can think of where I've unlocked EVERYTHING on it and beat everything on every difficulty level.
PS1 - Japanese version. I imported this one because slim PS2's can't freeze up the US version for some reason. The Japanese version has beautiful artwork BTW. Though I technically still own this one, it's on my trade list now because I have since got a PS3 (or two) and can play the US PS1 game. And because I have no shortage of ways to play the game in general.
PS1 - US version. See above.
PSN - so then I realized that the HD PS3 version on PSN offers up online play
so I had to have it. Too bad every single time I've tried to play online there isn't a soul out there to play against.
At any rate, the HD looks fantastic, though surprisingly there's far less to unlock in this one than say the GBA version.
...and sadly I'm planning to pick up the PSP version when I see it cheap enough somewhere. It's not that I NEED it so much as I just can't see not having it for a handheld.

I have Crazy Taxi on both PS2 and Dreamcast. Neither copies work.

I've got two copies of sonic cd pc. Both do not work. I play it on sonic gems collection.

Do not work as in the discs are ruined, or do not work because you don't have a Windows 95/98 to play them on? If it's the latter, I'd fix that if I were you. The PC version is superior to the GCN one because you can burn a second copy with the Japanese soundtrack.DinnerX wrote:I've got two copies of sonic cd pc. Both do not work. Re: What game do you own the most versions/copies of?
I own multiple copies of all the old Mario and the old Sonic games. I also have many versions of Galaga.
<deep breath>
I have Mario Bros (arcade version) for NES.
I have about five or six copies of Super Mario Bros/Duckhunt for NES.
I also have Super Mario Bros without Duckhunt; vice versa, I also have Duckhunt without SMB.
I have the three-in-one cartridge Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt/World Class Track Meet for NES
I have Super Mario All-Stars for SNES.
I have Super Mario Deluxe for Game Boy Color.
I have Super Mario Bros port for the Game Boy Advance (from the Classic NES Series).
I have Super Mario Bros on the wii virtual console.
Similarly, I have way too many copies, ports, and remakes of Mario Bros 2, 3, and World.
<exhale>
Listing all that actually wore me out. I'll have to take a moment to remember all the ports of my other games

Both are just plain broken. Both were bought new from stores too. They came in packs with other games so I still have both CDs.Opa Opa wrote:Incompatible with your OS? Or just plain broken?DinnerX wrote:I've got two copies of sonic cd pc. Both do not work. I play it on sonic gems collection.
They have corrupted files on them. The games will work on the title screen, but crash when any level is loaded. The soundtrack is there though so I listen to it sometimes.
A person could probably add the Japanese sound track to the GCN version too, although it'd be harder.BoringSupreez wrote:DinnerX wrote:The PC version is superior to the GCN one because you can burn a second copy with the Japanese soundtrack.
The gcn version of sonic cd is stored in the soniccdu.cvm file on the sonic gems disk. In that .cvm file, which can be easily converted to .iso, there is a file called BGM_US.AFS. An .afs in an archive of a buch of .adx files. A person should be able to convert the Japanese soundtrack to .adx and reverse the process to have the Japanese soundtrack in game.
Or I could just import Sonic Gems and get the Streets of Rage games and bonanza bros. in addition the the Japanese soundtrack for sonic CD.
