Yup, and I wish to remain so. Looks like dumb people with dumb recipes that have to be cooked by other dumb people so the people who pretend to eat the mess don't get food poisoning.
Actually I think they're interesting guys seeing exactly what they can do with mass market crap to invent some incredibly bizarre food stuffs. In one episode they challenged themselves to make breakfast in which Jack Daniels was a key ingredient in everything. In another they made 4-Loco chili, which could only be eaten with a paddle. And in another, they made the largest fortune cookie you'll ever see.

They also count up the calories of each item. They broke 100,000 for their Super Bowl burger special.

There's worse things to eat healthwise you know. It might not be as bad as it looks...

Have you seen the shit they put in some of these? Their 'lasagne' has 45 burgers from various fast food outlets, fried bacon, onion rings and loads of other incredibly unhealthyt things. I'm surprised standing in a 5 yard radius of the damn thing doesn't cause heart attacks, never mind eating it.

Personally, it just makes me feel ill. My housemates seem to think it looks tasty though. I think it looks like something has died, been eaten whole, then thrown back up into an oven tray.

I agree. You can tell that the main dude is putting on an act and probably isn't actually a douchebag. It is a bit like a food version of Jackass (which crosses too far into stupid IMHO), but with less asshattery and property damage. I find EMT pretty amusing, as does one of my friends who is a great cook. :)

I looked into their backgrounds a bit. The main guy is a teacher of some sort, while the guy with aviators is a personal trainer.

Do they ever challenge themselves to make something worth eating?

Cooking was my life for almost a decade, so I'm a bit biased, but I just have no interest in what they consider to be "epic" (dear God I can't wait for that word to go away).

I mean, making breakfast with JD is a challenge? Um...Pour it in a glass and drink.
Seriously, I would start off with:
Irish Coffee
Pancakes with a reduced JD syrup
Whisky infused pork sausage
Fresh fruit with a whisky whipped cream
And two Tylenol

But I've only watched that one clip, so possibly the bags of douche on the show have some merit, but I certainly didn't see it.

They're trying to be funny, ridiculous, and still somewhat edible. They aren't trying for culinary masterpieces.

I was only talking about the bird in a bird in a bird in a bird in a pig one. Meat isn't exactly unhealthy...

They should've made a bird in a bird in a bird in a bird in a pig in a sheep in a buffalo in an elephant though if you ask me...

Now that would've been spectacular... lol
