Random thought: I actually can't wait to get started on dinner. It's Thanksgiving in July, which means a stuffed Turkey with sweet potatoes, cranberries, sprouts of Brussels, wild rice salad, pies, and shit tons of leftovers. It's a feast that lasts forever and feeds a family of four for four days for under $4 a person.

Stuffed turkey is awesome but I won't make it in the house during the summer. Yes, I do have central A/C but I try to avoid using the oven in order to not heat up the kitchen.

I have made a grilled stuffed turkey before that came out good. It's not as good when there's no pan gravy to go with it.

Too much prep, too much cost, not enough payoff. A proper roasted duck is far superior to any turducken.

Epic Meal Time is generally awesome. Most of the stuff they make sounds kinda good... in small portions. It's a wonder they haven't all died of coronaries though. Especially mirrorshades guy. I swear he's always shown eating more than anyone else.

I see you are unfamiliar with Epic Meal Time.

Epic Meal Time is generally awesome. Most of the stuff they make sounds kinda good... in small portions. It's a wonder they haven't all died of coronaries though. Especially mirrorshades guy. I swear he's always shown eating more than anyone else.

I've heard they do a ton of exercise the day before and the day after they eat any of this stuff, so as to keep themselves from getting sick. Basically they eat and act healthy the rest of the time, so that they can do things to themselves like this and not die.

Yup, and I wish to remain so. Looks like dumb people with dumb recipes that have to be cooked by other dumb people so the people who pretend to eat the mess don't get food poisoning.
