I wonder, what's in the Castlevania soundtrack collection? Are they arranged versions or the music you hear in-game? I haven't found any samples.

50. Contra: Shattered Soldier

I'd like to add Contra: Shattered Soldier to the list (or Shin Contra, as it's known in Japan). It's so damn hardcore. The songs are either high energy trance tracks or just metal as fuck. The only downside to this album is that a lot of the tracks are short and end fairly abruptly. Seriously a killer soundtrack though.

I tried to find the official ost for sale, but it's not anywhere that I could find, so here's this instead.

In spirit of Dark Souls, I'm gonna elect Demon's Souls for 51. Not sure if it was sold stand alone but it was packaged with the game when it got localized.

Not only is the music great overall, but the way the music was designed and implemented into the game is great too.

These two tracks are quite nice.
