I deleted Facebook around 3 months ago and haven't looked back since. Now I can use that time for something important, like playing video games.
Older. Not wiser.

I had no idea RB was on facebook either.
Is it just a fan page? Is it active?

Wow, that's nuts.
And yeah, FB is pretty terrible. For me it's literally pretty much become Family Book and obviously you don't want you parents or family knowing everything you do (not that I have shit to hide, but come'on a little privacy please? I even had to talk to my mom about bugging me about girls leaving me messages once, it was embarrassing and very annoying, needless drama). It's either that or as the jokes say, friend requests from people you probably once knew and delightfully forgot about ... until FB happened.

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
You know what bugs me? Harassment to get on facebook.
"You should get on facebook so we can talk"
"We're talking now. Besides I was on facebook. I never use the fucking thing and I don't miss it."
"Well still..."
Even when I did use it I made fun of it. The constant status updates every 30 seconds are the most ridiculous fucking thing. Then Twitter came along and created an entire website with a laser focus on that one aspect. And people love it.
Maybe I'm too much of a hermit for my age group (or at all for that matter) but don't people ever want to get a fucking break from each other? I just can't handle being connected all the time. Plus, how can I lie about what I'm doing if people know what I'm doing by reading it on facebook? Madness.
