Oh, trust me, have the remake. These are just the versions that are either original or straight ports, like Deadly Silence. RE is probably my biggest collection since I have these plus 2,3, code veronica, 4 for GC and wii, 5, the list goes on...AppleQueso wrote:OP, how on earth can you not have the gamecube remake?

My original intention was to see how many copies of a single game people have in various forms. But series' works too.dsheinem wrote:I have a bunch of Madden games, including some recently acquired ones not shown here: http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopi ... =28&t=9557

Well if we're talking series...
I have one copy of Mega Man x4 for the Playstation. Then I went and bought the japanese version for the Saturn because I wanted to play the game with japanese voice overs, I liked the japanese box art AND I felt that Megaman X4 was really a Saturn game anyway(Sony had actually tried to stop Capcom from releasing it on the Playstation) so I had to have a copy for my saturn collection.
I own all the Megaman X games, but still bought Megaman X Collection when it came out. I bought the Megaman X remake on the PSP and then got the japanese version, just because it had a different intro theme music and I also wanted to have a copy of the game with japanese voice actors.
In my search for a copy of Mega Man X3 for the Super Nintendo, I ended up with two of them because the first copy I ever got has label damage and unfortunately for me, so did the second one I got. I do have the box for the game in great condition though
So if it's not obvious, I love the Megaman X series. I want to get either the Saturn or Playstation version of Megaman X 3 at some point, just for the extra anime they put in and despite me preferring the soundtrack on the S-NES version

Do you own more than one copy or version of a game?
If so, why? I own 2 copies of Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero, one complete one disc only, (used to have 3, got rid of one) because the majority of them wouldn't work. I also own multiple \ copies of some Sonic games because I have Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection, and Sonic's Mega Collection Plus. I also own Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 for the PS1, and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2x for the Xbox.

I own every version of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.
Why? It's my favourite game ever, and I always want to make sure I'll have a way to play it when the mood strikes.
Edit: Version, not copy!

I'll edit the topic title to reflect this, thanks for pointing it out : Dirixith wrote:I own every version of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.
