The Turbo Express is equally as bad, if not worse.

Two-Hours? That's a bit of an exaggeration. It's more like 5-6 hours. Still not the greatest, granted. But this can be fixed with an AC Adapter which is very easy to find because it's the same one the model 2 Genesis and the 32X uses. There's also a car adapter made for it, but I've never used it.

ok true but it a poor hand held I never ever use mine not sure what to do with it.

Really they and pc engine were never released in uk officially you could get them inported if you wanted but what would the point be.

That doesn't really "fix" the problem on a handheld, which is meant to be somewhat portable. That's like saying the 3DS battery life is "fixed" by leaving it on the cradle all the...wait a second.

Mostly fixes the issue for me, I play handhelds far more in my house than out of it. They let me sit with everyone else when they're watching tv and let me still play games.

What's the point of having a Game Gear anyway? It's outdated and all the games can be easily emulated on the DS or PSP.

The point of having a Turbo Express/PC Engine GT or Game Gear is the exact same; to enjoy retro games the way they were originally intended to be played. If you don't want to enjoy games that weren't released in your region, then that's up to you. I do think the "point" is pretty clear, though.

I agree. For some reason, I find early color portable systems (GG, Lynx) seem more primitive to me than the original Gameboy. The early color portables obviously were trying hard to be like portable versions of home consoles, while the Gameboy accepted the fact that it was an entirely different sort of system. Thus, the games made for Gameboy feel less like they are being held back than those on GameGear.

Hmm...

Super 32X?
Virtual Boy?
Xbox?
PC-FX?
Supergrafx?

Playstation 3? Yep. I am ashamed to even own one because of how much bullshit there is involving DLC and forced firmware updates that remove features. On the bright side, my PS3 can play PS2 games so it's not quite 100% worthless.
