Thinking of getting Bomberman: AZ... yeah I know, I'm crazy.

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Thinking of getting Bomberman: AZ... yeah I know, I'm crazy.

Post by Flak Beard »

Maybe I'm a little sadistic, but a cold, post apocalyptic Bomberman game seems like a so-bad-it's-good time. I saw it for around $6 at my local game shop, so what's the harm right?

Anyway, being the achievement junkie I am, I was wondering how hard are they to obtain. I know getting all 1000 points would be torture, but how feasible is it to walk away with around 400-500 points from the game?

It seems like the "secret panel" achievements net a lot of points, but are these incredibly hard to get? Can most of the achievements be done in single player? Also, is it true you have no life bar in the overhead view?

I know points aren't everything, but I personally like to net at least 1/3 to 1/2 from each game I play. :D

Yeah I know, I feel much shame for asking.

I picked up The Simpsons Game instead after seeing it on sale this weekend (despite vowing never to buy an EA game).

Do you go out of your way to buy shitty games?

I wouldn't really classify Simpsons Game as "shitty". It's got a few flaws, but it's funny and entertaining. I don't have any delusions about these games either. I know exactly what I'm buying beforehand, and that's why I hunt on the cheap.

Besides, I've played many of the AAA games on 360. The crappier stuff is just filler. :D

I played it for free which I thought was a fair deal. The game has an awesome design and having everything cel shaded looks awesome but the game was just kind of repetitive.
